From WhatsApp to Kick-Off in 5 Simple Steps

1. Join the WhatsApp Group

Tap the WhatsApp button on this page. You will land in our group of 200+ active Sharjah football players. Send a quick introduction — your name, your level, and your preferred match format. The admin will pin the rules in your DMs and welcome you.

2. Watch the Daily Match Posters

Every day, the organiser posts the next available Sharjah football match. Each poster contains: the pitch name, a Google Maps pin, kick-off time, format (5/7/11-a-side), the player fee in AED, and the number of slots available. Spots fill within minutes for popular slots, so notifications matter — keep the group's mute setting reasonable.

3. Reply "In" to Confirm Your Spot

Confirmation is first-come-first-served. Once the spots are full, the organiser pins the final lineup. If you cannot make it, drop a message ASAP so the next waitlisted player can take your spot. We take no-shows seriously — three unexcused no-shows and you will be politely removed from the group.

4. Show Up 10 Minutes Early

Arrive at the pitch already changed and warmed up. Pay the organiser in cash or via instant bank transfer (we accept all UAE banks and Liv./Wio). The organiser then splits the teams using player history, recent form, and player position requests. Bibs are provided. The ball is provided.

5. Play, Respect, Repeat

Two halves, usually 25 minutes each, with a short break. We rotate keepers when needed. There is no referee — we play self-officiated with mutual respect. If there is a disagreement, the organiser has the final say. After the match, players usually grab water, take a group photo, and chat about the next slot.

What to Bring to a Sharjah Football Match

• Football boots — turf or moulded studs (no metal studs on artificial turf)
• Shin pads (mandatory)
• Both a light and a dark shirt — helps with team-balancing if bibs run out
• At least 1.5 litres of water, plus electrolytes in summer
• A small towel and a change of t-shirt for the drive home
• Cash (small notes) or a banking app ready for the player fee

Refund and Cancellation Policy

If a match is cancelled by the venue (rain, power outage, double-booked pitch), every player gets a full refund within 24 hours. If you cancel your spot more than 4 hours before kick-off, no charge. Less than 4 hours, you are charged the player fee unless someone takes your spot from the waitlist.

Group Etiquette

1. No spam in the WhatsApp group. Only football-related messages.
2. Respect every player on the pitch, regardless of skill or background.
3. Pay your fee on the day. Repeated late payments are not okay.
4. No nasty tackles. We play to enjoy ourselves and go to work the next morning.
5. Be a good loser and a humble winner.
